Amelia × Számlázz.hu is a WordPress plugin that connects the Amelia booking plugin directly to Számlázz.hu invoicing, without WooCommerce. A paid booking creates an invoice automatically, a cancellation creates a cancellation invoice, a deposit creates a deposit invoice, and failed requests are retried. Every step shows in the invoice log. It runs live on a client site.

Amelia's own invoice skips NAV.
Amelia's own invoice is a PDF and XML document to the EN 16931 standard, issued only for paid bookings, and it does not cover Hungarian NAV reporting.1 Since 4 January 2021, NAV receives data on every invoice, including those issued to private individuals.2 Amelia can route bookings through WooCommerce checkout instead, but that needs WooCommerce and a hidden "Appointment" product.3 This plugin skips that detour: the booking becomes a Számlázz.hu invoice directly.
What the plugin does.

Invoice from a paid booking.
When a booking is paid, Számlázz.hu issues the invoice, with no manual work.
Cancellation invoice.
If a booking is cancelled, a cancellation invoice is created with no manual work.
Deposit invoice.
A booking paid by deposit gets a deposit invoice.
Automatic retries.
If Számlázz.hu is unavailable, the plugin tries again later.
A full invoice log.
Every invoice, cancellation and error can be looked up in the WordPress admin.
What you need.
- A WordPress site with the Amelia booking plugin.
- A Számlázz.hu account and a Számla Agent key. The key works with every Számlázz.hu plan; Számla Agent is a separate add-on that Számlázz.hu bills monthly in arrears, by the number of documents issued through the API the month before.4
Set up in three steps.
- Install the plugin and activate the licence.
- Paste in your Számla Agent key.
- Make a test booking and check the invoice in Számlázz.hu and in the log.

What happens if Számlázz.hu doesn't respond?
The plugin retries later and records the error in the invoice log, so nothing is lost silently.

Számlázz.hu bills it monthly in arrears, by the number of documents issued through the API. Its price list has the exact fee.4
